well folks i know this review is way late but i needed to say my piece. i have been donkey punching madden for years when it comes out as crap. Madden 10 was awesome all the wat around and my favorite was the online franchise cause now you can play with you buddies who are far away like mine are cause we military folks move alot. so thumbs up EA for such an outstanding job and to all who read this and don’t play madden shame on you. well lets hope madden 11 is just as hot.
I was lucky. Held out this year and bought it for $30 on a Black Friday deal or something like that and I guess it’s probably worth that, but as nice as the new gang tackle animations are, it doesn’t really feel much different from 2009. It certainly doesn’t feel $60 better. I could care less about the updated rosters. I can do that myself and when I’m playing through a career, the rosters are near unrecognizable after 2-3 seasons, so it doesn’t really matter.
For $30, I’d say buy it. For more, save your money. As much as I love Madden, I’m done shelling out money for it every year. I generally only play single player or with friends when they come over, so I don’t care that much about EA charging for online access with used games. Save your money and buy the new one used or buy last year’s version. It’s still Madden. Every year, it’s roughly the same game with different rosters.
Oh, there is one annoying thing that’s new with Madden 2010; the measuring for a first down. I can play a whole game without the refs having to measure for a first down, but I also can have the refs measure for 10-15 in one game. It’s Maddening because you can barely skip past much of the animation and can add five minutes to your game time if you get a lot. I’ve got the game down to a science and I can play a full game with 5 min quarters in about 30 minutes, but this Madden randomly adds time to your game with the ref’s measurements.
This game is totally awesome. Total game controll. Beautiful graphics. A must buy title to show off your skills with friends or Xbox Live.
I bought this game for my son. He is very happy with it. He said the game is very realistic, and he loves playing online with his friends.
The product that I rec’vd, ( Madden NFL 10 ) is in very good condition and complete with instruction booklet. It’s better than I expected since this is my first buy for games. I’m so pleased that I’m looking forward to my next buy. Sorry I didn’t replay to this review request in a timely manner but the game is new to me I wanted to learn and play it before I could honestly give a fair review, plus I’m a bit of a novice in in these type of transactions.
